FRACTIONAL CAIO

Part-time AI leadership

Make AI really work in your business: with judgment, someone accountable and properly implemented. I join your team a few hours a month as your AI director, without you having to hire a full-time role.

WHY IT MATTERS

Using AI is not the same as having it properly implemented

AI is already in many businesses, but it almost always came in through the back door: someone tries a tool, someone else uses another, and nobody decides what is used, with what data or for what.

According to CaixaBank Research, using INE data, the main obstacle to adopting AI in Spanish companies is a lack of skills, followed by data and AI governance, and ahead of cost. What is missing is judgment, more than budget.

On top of that, the EU AI Act already requires companies that use AI to train their staff and sets transparency obligations for certain uses. To comply, the first step is knowing which AI systems your company uses.

Without AI leadership

  • Loose tools, everyone with their own
  • Nobody decides what data can be used or where
  • Pilots that never go beyond a test
  • Doubts about what European regulation requires
  • Dependence on whatever the latest vendor recommends

With AI leadership

  • A clear inventory of the AI in use and what for
  • Shared judgment on tools, data and vendors
  • Use cases prioritized by return and actually launched
  • A usage policy and training within reach of the whole team
  • Someone accountable for the results
WHAT IT IS

An AI director for your business, a few hours a month

It is a fractional leadership model: an experienced executive performs the AI director role in your company part-time. In the Anglo-Saxon world it is known as a Fractional CAIO (Chief AI Officer). You get the judgment of an AI director without taking on the cost or the process of hiring a full-time role.

Not a classic consultant

A consultant hands over a report and leaves. I become part of your team, decide with you and take responsibility for getting it done.

Not an automation agency

Building workflows is not the same as deciding what is worth automating, in what order and with what safeguards.

Not another tool

Tools give you access to AI. What is usually missing is someone with judgment and accountability to put it in order.

WHAT IT INCLUDES

Everything needed to implement AI in an orderly way

Diagnosis of your AI

An inventory of the AI you already use (tools, accounts and data) and of where there is disorder or risk.

Roadmap

Use cases prioritized by estimated return and a six-month plan to launch them.

The AI Act without fear

A review of the obligations that apply to you, an AI usage policy and simple training for the team.

Tools and vendors

Judgment on what to use and what not to, with a clear stance on privacy: I favor models that do not train on your data without your consent.

Team training

Short, regular sessions so your team uses AI well and with confidence.

Follow-up and results

Regular meetings with management and a monthly report with three figures: hours saved, use cases in production and training completed.

HOW WE WORK

From the first conversation to AI that works in your favor

  1. 1

    We talk about your case

An initial conversation to understand how you use AI today, what worries you and what you want to achieve.

  2. 2

    Diagnosis and roadmap

We start with a diagnosis: an inventory of the AI you use, a review of your obligations, three prioritized use cases and a six-month plan.

  3. 3

    Ongoing leadership

Regular meetings with management to decide, review tools and vendors, launch use cases, train the team and measure results every month.

If you need to build something new (an agent, an automation), it is handled separately as a project and does not use up the leadership hours.

WHO IT IS FOR

For businesses that want AI under control

  • Small businesses that already use AI without shared criteria
  • Teams that want to start well and do not know where
  • Growing companies that need AI decisions without hiring a full-time role
  • Businesses that want to sort out their AI Act obligations without the hassle

An important note

I help you understand and organize your obligations, but this is not legal advice. For specific cases it is wise to rely on a lawyer, and regulation changes, so it is reviewed regularly.

WHY ME

An operator, not just an advisor

I build and maintain

I have designed and maintained AI systems in small businesses, including my own. That is why I decide with you, implement and stay afterwards.

A human method

My approach, Digitalización Consciente Positiva (Conscious Positive Digitalization), puts technology at the service of people and avoids dependence on vendors.

Language and closeness

A native Spanish-language service, for Spain and Latin America, using management language: priorities, risk and return before tools.

WITH WORKOS

It fits with WorkOS, but you do not need it

If you already use WorkOS, or implement it with WorkOS Boutique, AI leadership is the layer of judgment that goes with the system once it is delivered. And if you do not use it, it works just the same: I work with the tools you already have.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What people usually ask me

How is it different from an AI consultant?

A consultant usually works by project and delivers a report. With part-time AI leadership I join your team on an ongoing basis, make decisions with you and answer for getting them done.

How many hours do you dedicate to me?

A few hours a month, adjusted to what your business needs. We define it in the first conversation.

Do I need to use WorkOS?

No. I work with the tools you already use. WorkOS is an option, not a requirement.

Do you advise me on the AI Act?

I help you inventory the AI you use, understand which obligations apply to you, draft a usage policy and train the team. It is not legal advice: for specific cases it is wise to have a lawyer.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the scope and the dedication. We discuss it in the first conversation, with no commitment.

How do I start?

Write to me through the contact page. We start with a conversation and, if it fits, with a diagnosis of how you use AI today.

Shall we talk about how to bring order to AI in your business?

Tell me how you use it today and what you would like to achieve. No commitment.
